Gymnocalycium ferox var. ferocior
It is a type of cactus of the Gymnocalycium genus that grows mainly in South America and is particularly known for its beautiful spines.
The contrast between the round, firm body and the long, firm spines is beautiful, and the subdued coloring gives it an elegant and quiet presence.
■Location for storage <br>Store in a sunny, well-ventilated location throughout the year.
In the summer, it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight and shade the plant using lace curtains or cheesecloth.
In winter, keep it in a place where the temperature does not drop below 0°C. It is relatively cold-resistant, but care must be taken to prevent it from becoming too humid.
■Temperature control <br>Although it is relatively resistant to cold, it should be kept in a place where the temperature does not drop below 0°C in winter.
■Watering <br>During the growing season from spring to autumn, water the plant thoroughly when the soil dries out.
In winter, reduce watering and keep the soil slightly dry.
■Soil and fertilizer <br>Please use potting soil for succulents and cacti that has good breathability and drainage.
From spring to autumn, giving liquid fertilizer once a month will help the plant grow healthily.
To prevent root rot, be sure to discard any water that accumulates in the saucer.
