Mammillaria parkinsonii 'Azarashi'

This cactus is a type of Mammillaria cactus, and is particularly known as the strong-spined variety of Hakuomaru. Its distinctive features are its long, thick white spines, the split heads near the growing point, and its flat head. It was named after its seal-like appearance.
Its appearance, covered in fluffy white fluff, is striking, and its gentle texture is somehow soothing.

■Location <br>Keep it in a sunny place throughout the year. It likes sunlight, so care must be taken to ensure it does not get too little. In winter, it is recommended to keep it indoors as it is sensitive to the cold.

■Temperature control <br>Although this cactus is relatively cold-tolerant, it is recommended to keep it indoors in winter, making sure that the temperature does not drop below 5°C. In summer, keep it out of direct sunlight and in a well-ventilated place.

■Watering Growing season (spring and autumn): Once the soil has completely dried out, water thoroughly until water flows out from the bottom of the pot. This should last for about 10 days to 2 weeks.
Summer: Growth slows in the heat, so water sparingly. Watering once a month is sufficient.
Winter: As the plant enters a dormant period, water it sparingly. Watering it once a month is sufficient.

■Soil and fertilizer <br>Please use potting soil for succulents and cacti that has good breathability and drainage.
Fertilizer is not generally necessary, but giving small amounts of diluted liquid fertilizer during the growing seasons in spring and autumn will help the plant grow healthier. It is also a good idea to mix slow-release fertilizer into the soil when repotting.
