Pachypodium rosulatum var. gracilius
This tuberous plant (codex) grows wild mainly in Madagascar and Africa, and is unique in its balance of round, swollen tuberous roots and slender branches.
The contrast between the small leaves and the tree shape is beautiful, making this a highly ornamental specimen.
■ Care location : Prefers a sunny location. Lack of sunlight may cause the tuberous roots to wrinkle.
It is sensitive to cold, so it is recommended to keep it indoors during the winter.
■Temperature control <br>As it is sensitive to cold, please switch to indoor storage when the temperature drops below 10°C.
■Watering <br>During the growing season from spring to autumn, water the plant thoroughly when the soil dries out.
Water about once a month, and withhold water during the dormant period when the leaves have fallen.
■Soil and fertilizer <br>Use soil with good breathability and drainage.
Apply liquid fertilizer once a month from spring to autumn.
