Lophophora silver crown ball

Lophophora fricii v. decipiens

This is a type of cactus native to Mexico, also known as the silver wart crown. It is characterized by its spineless, round, button-shaped stems. When grown large, it forms a clump and produces small pink flowers.
With its round, soft contours and powdery skin, this plant exudes a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, calming the soul every time you see it.

■Location <br>Keep it in a bright place out of direct sunlight throughout the year. In particular, avoid direct sunlight in midsummer, and shade it with lace curtains or cheesecloth. Also, keep it in a well-ventilated place and make sure the temperature does not drop below 0°C. In winter, it goes into a dormant period, so reduce watering and keep it in a warm place.

■Temperature control <br>Optimum growth temperature: 20℃ to 30℃ is ideal.
Minimum temperature: Maintain a temperature above 5°C. Especially in winter, if the temperature drops below 5°C, you will need to take measures such as bringing the plant indoors.
Cold weather precautions: Consider moving your cactus to a heated room or using an insulating cactus cover.

■Watering <br>Watering will vary depending on the growing conditions and the season. Generally, water only after the soil has completely dried out, and in winter the plant will go into a dormant period so watering should be limited.

■Soil and fertilizer <br>Please use potting soil for succulents and cacti that has good breathability and drainage.
Apply slow-release fertilizer twice a year from spring to autumn.
