Agave titanota oteroi
A succulent plant of the Agave family, native to Mexico, Central and South America, and North America.
Its thick, wide leaves and sharp, saw-like teeth create an attractive, rugged yet stylish form.
In recent years, rare varieties and well-formed (beautiful ball-type) plants have become extremely popular among plant enthusiasts in East Asia and other regions.
■Care Location
Growing Season (Spring/Autumn): Sunny and well-ventilated location.
Summer: Avoid direct sunlight, a well-ventilated semi-shaded location.
Winter: Indoors in a sunny location, maintain a minimum temperature of 5℃.
■Temperature Management
Ideally, maintain a temperature between 10℃ and 25℃.
If the minimum temperature falls below 5℃, bring it indoors and manage it in a heated area.
In summer, avoid direct sunlight and manage it in a well-ventilated location.
■Watering
Be careful not to overwater. As it is a drought-tolerant plant, water only after the soil has completely dried out.
In winter, as it enters dormancy, reduce watering and keep it relatively dry.
■Soil and Fertilizer
Please use potting soil for succulents and cacti with good aeration and drainage.
During the growing season from spring to autumn, it is recommended to apply slow-release granular fertilizer every two months. Also, giving liquid fertilizer every two weeks in place of watering is effective.
Do not fertilize in winter as growth slows down.
