A spineless cactus of the genus Astrophytum.
It has a fluffy white appearance. It was named "Hanazono Kabuto" (flower garden helmet) because the flowers bloom not only near the growing point but also in various places. It is a very cute plant to look at.
■Location for keeping <br>A location that is sunny and well-ventilated throughout the year, such as indoors or in a greenhouse with rain protection, is suitable.
■Temperature control <br>Keep indoors during the middle of winter.
■Watering <br> During the growing season from spring to autumn, water thoroughly when the soil is dry. During the dormant period in winter, gradually stop watering.
