The Kinshachi is also known as the king of cacti. It is characterized by its golden spines, and there are many different types with different shapes and lengths of spines. It is highly collectible and very popular. It is also popular because it is sturdy and easy to grow.
This specimen has special spines that are irregularly curved and twisted, called "kyoshi" or "permanent."
■Location for keeping <br>A location that is sunny and well-ventilated throughout the year, such as indoors or in a greenhouse with rain protection, is suitable.
■Temperature control <br>Keep it indoors during the middle of winter. A good temperature difference between day and night will help it grow into a beautiful shape.
■Watering <br> During the growing season from spring to autumn, water thoroughly when the soil is dry. During the dormant period in winter, gradually stop watering.
