Pachypodium rosulatum var. gracilius
A caudex plant native to Madagascar and Africa, featuring a unique balance of a round, swollen caudex and slender, elongated branches.
The contrast between its small leaves and tree-like form is beautiful, making it a highly ornamental piece.
■Location
Prefers a sunny location. Lack of sunlight can cause the caudex to wrinkle.
As it is sensitive to cold, indoor care is recommended during winter.
■Temperature Management
Being sensitive to cold, move it indoors when temperatures drop below 10℃.
■Watering
During the growing season from spring to autumn, water thoroughly once the soil dries out.
During its dormant period when leaves have fallen, water approximately once a month.
■Soil and Fertilizer
Use soil with good aeration and drainage.
Apply liquid fertilizer once a month from spring to autumn.
