A succulent plant native to Mexico and the southwestern United States. In Japan, it is also called Ranpo-gyoku.
Strongyrogonum is a large Astrophytum. It can bloom from spring to early summer.
■Location for keeping <br>A sunny, well-ventilated room or greenhouse with rain protection is suitable throughout the year.
■Temperature control <br>Keep indoors during the middle of winter.
■Watering <br> During the growing season from spring to autumn, water the plant thoroughly when the soil is dry. During the dormant period in winter, gradually stop watering.
