A cactus native to Diamantina, Minas Geras state, Brazil, South America.
It has fine spines like the tips of toothbrush bristles. It is a popular cactus that is also widely cultivated in Japan.
■Temperature control <br>When the temperature drops below 10℃, keep the plant indoors.
■Watering During the growing season from spring to autumn, water thoroughly when the soil is dry. In winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out.
